Terms of Service
1. Who provides the service
The service is provided by Individual Entrepreneur Almaz Basimov, identification number 345838285, registered on 30 April 2026 with the National Agency of Public Registry of the Ministry of Justice of Georgia. Address: 1 Zhiuli Shartava Avenue, Batumi, Georgia. Contact: support@voicemoir.com. Referred to below as "we".
2. What VoiceMoir is
VoiceMoir is an app in which you tell the story of your life by voice or in writing. It transcribes your recordings, helps turn them into an autobiography, keeps your family tree, and lets you share the resulting book with the people close to you and with an heir. The app is not a medical, psychological or legal service.
3. Agreement and age
By creating an account or buying Premium you accept these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the app. VoiceMoir is for adults only: when you register you confirm that you are 18 or older.
These terms govern your use of the app. The Premium subscription is bought inside the app on iPhone, is sold by Apple and is governed by Apple's standard licence agreement: for purchase, renewal and refunds that agreement applies, and sections 6 and 7 below only explain how it works.
4. Your account
Your account is tied to an email address that you confirm with a code we send you. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done under your account. If you notice someone else signing in, write to us. You can delete your account together with all your recordings at any time from within the app, without giving a reason.
5. Free and Premium
The core features are free, with limits — on the number and length of recordings, on the number of book builds and searches, and on the size of the family tree. Premium raises those limits and unlocks photos in your entries. The exact numbers are on the plans page and on the subscription screen in the app.
6. Price and payment
Premium costs USD 4.99 per month or USD 49.99 per year. The App Store shows the price in your local currency, taxes included; the final amount is always visible before you pay. The subscription renews automatically until you cancel it in your Apple ID settings, where you can also manage it; after cancelling, access lasts until the end of the paid period. Apple takes the payment, and your payment details never reach us. There is currently no other way to buy Premium — not on the website and not in the Android app.
After you confirm your email, the first 7 days of Premium are free — once per email address. Gifted days cost nothing and do not renew automatically.
7. Refunds
Apple receives the money for the subscription and Apple issues refunds, under its own rules, through reportaproblem.apple.com. We have no access to those payments and cannot refund them on Apple's behalf. How to request a refund and what happens to your data is in our refund policy.
8. Your recordings stay yours
Everything you record is yours. We claim no rights to it, do not publish it and do not use it to train models. You give us exactly one permission: to store and process your material so that the app can work — transcribe speech, assemble your biography, and show your book to the people you have granted access to.
9. Information about other people
In your family tree and your entries you add information about other people — names, dates, photographs, an heir's email address. You are responsible for having the right to do so. We keep such information on your behalf, show it only to you and to those you have given access, and delete it together with your account. If someone in your tree asks for their details to be removed, write to us and we will help.
10. What is not allowed
You may not put unlawful content into the app, impersonate another person, try to reach other people's accounts, disrupt the service, reverse-engineer or copy the app, or resell access to it. For serious or repeated breaches we may suspend or close an account. A paid subscription remains an Apple subscription: you can cancel it and request a refund from Apple under Apple's rules.
11. Artificial intelligence and accuracy
Transcription, analysis of entries and the draft autobiography are produced automatically and can contain mistakes — misheard words, wrong dates, embellished phrasing. It is a draft of your memory, not a record of fact. Re-read and correct what matters to you. We are not responsible for decisions made on the basis of automatically generated text.
12. Availability
We do our best to keep the app running, but we cannot promise it will always be available: outages, maintenance and third-party failures happen. We may change or withdraw individual features; we will give notice of significant changes. Keep your own copies of what matters — your book can be exported as a PDF and your family tree as a GEDCOM file.
13. Liability
We are liable for direct damage caused by our fault, up to the amount you paid for the subscription over the previous 12 months. We are not liable for lost profit, or for loss of data you did not export. These limits do not affect the rights the law gives you as a consumer and that cannot be waived by contract.
14. Changes to these terms
We may change these terms. A new version is published on this page with a new date; we will announce significant changes by email or in the app. If you keep using VoiceMoir after the changes take effect, you accept them. Changes do not worsen a period you have already paid for.
15. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of Georgia. If you are a consumer in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another country whose law gives you stronger protection, that protection still applies. Before going to court, please write to us — almost everything is settled by email.
16. How to reach us
For anything at all: support@voicemoir.com. We reply within three working days. Our other documents: privacy policy and refund policy.
